After months of speculation, the NBA trade deadline has finally come and gone. Though the league's biggest stars stayed put, there was no shortage of drama and surprise, as teams across the association consolidated their rosters for the stretch run, completing an eye-popping 16 transactions on the day.

With a total of 41 NBA players and 15 draft picks being exchanged, we don't blame you for developing whiplash trying to keep up with all the news. To help save you some clicks, here is the full summary of every transaction completed on the day.

1. Heat Get Victor Oladipo from Rockets for Avery Bradley, Kelly Olynyk, and 2022 First Round NBA Draft Swap Rights

Victor Oladipo, Heat, Rockets

The final NBA deal of the afternoon also doubled as the biggest swindle of the day. With the Rockets failing to convince Victor Oladipo to agree to a contract extension mere weeks ago, it wasn't a surprise to see Houston deal Oladipo to a contender. What was a surprise was the fact that the Rockets extracted almost no future value out of the Heat. With Avery Bradley and Kelly Olynyk potential buy-out candidates–and Miami practically certain to win more games than Houston in 2022–it's not hyperbole to say that the Rockets gave up Oladipo for basically nothing.

When your NBA team is mired in a 20-game losing streak, it's not a move that will inspire a lot of hope for Rockets fans.

Meanwhile, the Heat have doubled down on their effort to ensure that last season's NBA Finals run was no fluke. Not only did Miami add another veteran two-way player to their already formidable starting lineup, but the organization will be a front-runner for LaMarcus Aldrige on the buyout market. Even if Oladipo's stay in South Beach lasts a few months, it's tough to quibble with the acquisition given the asking price.

2. Clippers Receive Rajon Rondo from Hawks for Lou Williams and Two Second-Round Picks

In exchanging a player notorious for his NBA regular-season success as much as his postseason failure, for one that is the complete inverse of that, the Los Angeles Clippers were responsible for the most controversial trade at the deadline.

Not only did the NBA club deal away a franchise mainstay in Williams, but they received a point guard in Rondo, who quite frankly looks closer to retirement than a potential postseason hero. While the guard will undoubtedly flip the switch come playoff time, there are legitimate questions about whether or not it's still actually connected to electricity.

That the Clippers threw in draft capital to complete the deal means that this acquisition had better work out for the NBA franchise to avoid having egg on their face.

3. Blazers Receive Norman Powell from Raptors for Gary Trent Jr. and Rodney Hood

A vastly underappreciated player joins an equally underrated franchise. The Blazers may still be a tier below the top contenders in the NBA, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see them pull off an upset against the West's top squads.

4. Bulls Get Nikola Vucevic and Al-Farouq Aminu from Magic for Wendell Carter, Otto Porter, & Two First-Round Picks

The Bulls are officially done rebuilding and are ready to become playoff mainstays. Questions about their ability to become championship contenders can quite frankly wait for another day for an NBA fan base that will get to enjoy watching Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic on a nightly basis.

To say that we have NBA basketball envy would be an understatement.

5. Nuggets Get Aaron Gordon and Gary Clark from Magic for Gary Harris, R.J. Hampton, and First-Round Pick

In acquiring a dynamic frontcourt mate for Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets have more than ample size and rim protection to compete in a seven-game NBA playoff series against the beasts of the West. That they sacrificed little in the way of present-day value to accomplish the feat makes the deal that much sweeter for Denver's front office.

The Magic, meanwhile, embark on yet another complete teardown of their roster since the early 2010s. Though the NBA organization failed to earn a king's ransom for a player who they once considered a franchise cornerstone, Gary Harris could earn additional value down the line should he find a way to correct his shooting woes.

6. Nuggets Receive JaVale McGee from Cavs for Isaiah Hartenstein and Two Second-Round Draft Picks

7. Celtics Receive Evan Fournier from Magic for Jeff Teague and Two Second-Round Picks

Celtics Evan Fournier trade

While Evan Fournier is more than capable of scoring the rock, something tells us that he isn't quite what Celtics fans had in mind when they dreamed of deadline targets for the NBA team. After years of operating with a conservative approach, Danny Ainge and the Celtics have finally exhausted their treasure chest of tradeable assets by utilizing their trade exception to acquire Fournier.

It's not difficult to wonder if this was really the best they could do.

8. Bulls Receive Mo Wagner and Troy Brown from Wizards for Chandler Hutchinson

9. Bulls Receive Daniel Theis from Celtics for Mo Wagner

With Daniel Theis scheduled to become an unrestricted NBA free agent, and the Celtics uncertain about their ability to resign the big man, the team decided to deal the center to stay below the luxury tax. Financial considerations aside, the team will not only miss Theis' ability on the defensive end of the court but his willingness to set screens and seals on offense.

10. Heat Receive Nemanja Bjelica from Kings for Maurice Harkless and Chris Silva

Bjelica's playing time may fluctuate from day-t0-day, but whenever he's on the court, good things seem to happen for his team.

11. Mavs Receive JJ Redick and Nicolo Melli from Pelicans for Wesley Iwanda, James Johnson, and a Second-Round Pick

While not the Pelicans guard most assumed would be dealt at the NBA deadline, Reddick's prodigious shooting ability should slot in nicely for a team that still clearly misses Seth Curry.

12. Kings Receive Terrence Davis from Raptors for a Second-Round Pick

13. Jazz Receive Matt Thomas from Raptors for a Second-Round Pick

14. 76ers get George Hill, Ignas Brazdeikis in 3-team deal; Knicks get Terrence Ferguson; Thunder get Austin Rivers, Tony Bradley, and Two Second-Round Picks

Was there any doubt that Daryl Morey would find some way to pull off a three-team trade at the NBA deadline?

15. Hornets Receive Brad Wanamaker from Warriors for Cash Considerations

16. Spurs Receive Marquese Chriss from Warriors for Cady Lalanne

We're going to be honest; we watch a lot of NBA basketball and have no idea who Cady Lalanne is. Apparently, he's worth an injured Marquese Chriss, though.
