Australian-born cricket star Steve Smith took to Instagram during a bit of downtime while competing in Dubai. As part of his post, the former captain of his national team picked up his guitar and sang a ditty for his fans.

Smith, now 31 years of age, is recognized as one of the best Test batsmen in the world. However, he's also a great singer, as he showed in his Instagram clip:

“All I need to see. A bit of practice in my downtime here in Dubai. Need plenty more work though,” Steve Smith wrote in the caption of his post.

Though he's played well in the Indian Premier League, Smith and the Rajasthan Royals are coming off of consecutive losses. Still, the team has managed to walk away as winners in two of their last four outings. Currently, Rajasthan is fifth on the IPL table.

“The last two games haven't gone to plan for us after what was a really good start to the tournament,” cricket star Steve Smith told India Today in a recent interview.

“But I guess that's the way T20 cricket goes sometimes,” Smith added. “We haven't played our best games in our last two and have been outplayed by the opposition on both occasions. It's about regrouping and moving forward now, trying to get better and get some wins on the board in the coming games.

“Hopefully I'm able to score a few runs.”

Players in the Indian Premier League have found themselves with a bit more free time than usual, as they are staying in a medically-secure “bubble” in light of the global coronavirus outbreak. Smith, a former ICC Cricketer of the Year, has also spent time on the tennis courts with some of his down time.

“Love that we can have a hit of tennis in our bio-bubble,” Steve Smith wrote in a separate Instagram post.

Though the players are staying in the bubble, it's nice to see that they can find ways to enjoy their free time.
