The Minnesota Timberwolves wanted all the smoke in their contest against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night.

Late into the fourth quarter as the Lakers were down 17 points with less than four minutes left in the game, Russell Westbrook took a three-pointer that wasn't exactly on the mark.

Karl-Anthony Towns had a rather expressive look of disgust at Westbrook's attempt as he corralled the rebound:

Towns, the reigning three-point shootout champion, was clearly not pleased with the Lakers point guard's inaccurate offering from distance.

He was probably following in Patrick Beverley's lead, too. The spitfire veteran guard was loud as can be on the evening, taunting the Lakers throughout. He was seen actively calling Russell Westbrook “trash” and also found time to flex on LeBron James for a quick second, healthy butt slap included.

The vibes were immaculate for Minnesota all night as the team never trailed agains the Lakers, going up by as much as 25 points.

Karl-Anthony Towns piled on 30 points on a perfect 13-for-13 from the free throw line. Patrick Beverley had himself a decent game as well, backing up his talk with 18 points while also recording three blocks and a steal on a Russell Westbrook lob pass to LeBron James.
