The Utah Jazz are scheduled to host the Indiana Pacers on Monday night, but the Jazz are going to be without the services of Donovan Mitchell, who will be missing his second consecutive game due to a rib contusion.

Mitchell, 22, is obviously an extremely important piece of Utah's rotation. He was enjoying a fine season until this setback, averaging 20.6 points on 41.8 percent shooting from the field (29.2 percent from beyond the arc), 3.7 assists, 2.6 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 32.5 minutes per outing, though his shooting has been inconsistent.

Alec Burks will likely be the main beneficiary in Mitchell's absence, as he has posted averages of 15.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists over the last two games. Burks racked up 17 points in Utah's loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night.

Though they were without Mitchell, the Jazz managed to beat the Sacramento Kings on Sunday, 133-112, snapping a three-game losing streak. Ricky Rubio notched 23 of his 27 points in the first half, while Rudy Gobert finished with 18 points and 15 rebounds.

“Any time he can get going he's allowed to do that,” Jazz head coach Quin Snyder told ESPN after Sunday's win, referring to Rubio. “He knew tonight that his scoring was important. He got to the rim as much as anything. I know he made some jumpers but he was attacking the rim and finishing.”

Meanwhile, the Pacers will also be without their star for Monday's game as well, as Victor Oladipo will miss his fourth consecutive game due to knee soreness.

Oladipo is averaging 21.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 4.7 assists in 32.4 minutes per contest. The 26-year-old is shooting 44.0 percent from the field and 34.5 percent from beyond the arc.

Monday night's Jazz-Pacers game is scheduled to tip inside Vivint Smart Home Arena at 9:00 p.m. ET.
