How have you been saying Jonas Jerebko's name? You probably say it with a J, right? If you have, then you have been pronouncing the Golden State Warriors forward's name wrong all this time.

Apparently, back in his home of Sweden, the letter J in both his first name and last name is said with a Y. But when he was drafted in the NBA and moved to the United States in 2009, the letter J was pronounced as such.

Kerith Burke posted a video on Twitter where she asked Jerebko on how his full name is actually pronounced, and we have been screwing it up all along.

As mentioned, the Swedish-born player was drafted into the NBA in 2009 as the 39th overall selection by the Detroit Pistons, where he played from 2009 to 2015. He signed with Warriors this past summer after making stops with the Boston Celtics from 2015 to 2017, and the Utah Jazz last season.

Jerebko is currently the man of the hour for the defending champions after he saved the day for them in their dramatic come from behind 124-123 victory over the Utah Jazz.

Kevin Durant missed a go-ahead opportunity near the free throw line in dying seconds of the game. Luckily, the Swedish-born forward was in the right place at the right time, as he tipped in the game winner with 0.3 seconds left.

Seriously, though, the man has been on U.S. soil for almost ten years now and no one even bothered to ask him how his name is actually pronounced? At least now we know. Let's not screw this up anymore.
