Golden State Warriors superstar shooting guard Klay Thompson is giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at his ACL recovery.

Thompson tweeted out a trailer for his documentary on Friday while noting in the caption that nothing is going to stop him from “coming back stronger.”

The Warriors sharpshooter has been ruled out for the entire 2019-20 season as he recovers from his injury. Thompson will be back whenever the 2020-21 season starts, and the Dubs are expected to be playoff contenders again once he returns and plays alongside his Splash Brother Stephen Curry.

Thompson averaged 21.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists for the Warriors last season. The five-time All-Star shot 46.7 percent from the floor, 40.2 percent from beyond the arc, and 81.6 percent from the free-throw line.

In the 2019 playoffs, Thompson put up 20.7 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists. The Warriors lost to the Toronto Raptors in the NBA Finals in six games. Klay tore his ACL in Game 6, which ended up being the final game ever played at Oracle Arena.

Klay and the Warriors agreed to a long-term extension last summer. As a result, it made no sense for the Dubs to rush Thompson back when his future is more important than one campaign. Since getting drafted by Golden State, Thompson has established himself as arguably the second-best shooter in NBA history behind only Steph.

The trio of Klay Thompson, Stephen Curry, and Draymond Green has won three titles with the Warriors. The Dubs had the worst record in the league before the 2019-20 season was suspended due to COVID-19, but that's mostly because Curry only played in five games due to a broken hand and Thompson was sidelined from the start.
