Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr says the game of basketball is missing Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson.

Curry has only played in four games this season, while Durant and Thompson haven't played at all:

“The game definitely missed Steph and Klay, that's for sure,” Kerr said, via ESPN. “The game of basketball missed those two guys. And Kevin [Durant] as well. We got three guys out this year who have been anchors in this league the last 10-plus years. The game missed those guys.”

Before he got hurt in October, Curry was putting up 20.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 6.5 assists for the Warriors while shooting 40.9 percent from the field, 24.3 percent from beyond the arc and a perfect 100 percent from the free-throw line.

Curry is said to be targeting a March 1 return to the Warriors' lineup.

Thompson is still rehabbing his ACL injury. Since the Warriors are going to miss the playoffs this season for the first time since Kerr became head coach, there's really no point for Thompson to play.

Durant has already said multiple times this season that he's sitting out the whole year. Brooklyn Nets fans certainly can't wait to see the two-time Finals MVP play next season with Kyrie Irving and DeAndre Jordan by his side.

The Warriors currently have the worst record in the NBA. They are 12-43.
