Spinners May Dominate The Game Of Rajasthan vs Punjab: RR vs PBKS, IPL 2022

RR vs PBKS, Wankhede Stadium. Rajasthan Royals have lost the last two games and are in the third position. If Punjab Kings win this game, they will jump to the number 4 position on the points table. Both the teams have big hitters in the middle order and have good leg-spinners.

RR has the upper hand in the openers department, and Jos Buttler is phenomenal with the bat this season. In contrast, PBKS has struggled with Mayank and Bairstow as their openers, and PBKS should continue with Bairstow as an opener.

Ravi Ashwin and Yuzi Chahal have dominating matchups against almost all the PBKS batters, and it will be worth watching both of them bowling in the powerplay. In contrast, pacers of RR have weak matchup records against PBKS batters.

Devdutt Padikkal could be the x-factor for RR. PBKS will be forming strategies for Buttler. Padikkal has excellent venue records, and Arshdeep has dismissed him two times, but he bowls most of his overs in the death. So, we may witness a big inning from Padikkal today.

Yuzi has a key to RR’s victory. Leggie has managed to pick only one wicket in the last three games. It can not be a coincidence that RR lost two of those three games in which Chahal underperformed. Luckily, Chahal has picked 25 wickets in just 16 innings against PBKS. This game might be a redemption game for Chahal to bring his form back.
