India captain Rohit Sharma and his predecessor Virat Kohli's fans were engaged in a heated social media exchange, which eventually led to slut-shaming of their respective spouses, Ritika Sajdeh and Anushka Sharma.
A supporter of Virat Kohli mocked Rohit Sharma's credentials by highlighting his wife Ritika Sajdeh's alleged affair with the former before the couple got married.
In response to Virat Kohli's admirer's post where he insulted Rohit Sharma and his family, a fan of the latter countered it with a photo on X, in which he denigrated the former India captain and his actress wife, Anushka Sharma.

Among other milestones he achieved in Rajkot was becoming the fifth Indian batter to score a half-century in the initial ten overs of a 50-over contest.

India's loss in the final ODI against Australia did not deter Rohit Sharma from praising his team's performance in the last four weeks.

“When we had a team meeting, we decided we won't read newspapers, don't listen to outside noise. Anything which can add to pressure, we won't do. It had become a rule and almost everyone genuinely followed that. We stayed together, we tried enjoy and do team-building exercises. Because it's easy to drift apart in long tournaments such as these. Gary Kirsten and MS Dhoni ensured that we stay together,” Virender Sehwag emphasized.
“Before and after matches, we had get-togethers. And we used to mostly talk cricket. On dinners, cricket strategies used to be topic. I used to give suggestions. That was a big reason behind our World Cup win. Of course, we had pressure. Whether we were on flight, the CISF personnel, in hotel, the managers and waiters… everyone kept saying, ‘win the World Cup'.”
“But MS Dhoni has this one line, ‘focus on the process'. Our process was good, that's why we won,” he summed up.
