Tristan Thompson might have to cough up some cash. He allegedly owes his ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig over $200k in child support for their son six-year-old son Prince according to legal documents obtained by Daily Mail.  The documents state that the NBA player has been making “either partial payments or missing child support payments altogether” since November 2022.

Craig is asking the court to withhold the athlete's income from the Cleveland Cavaliers. Thompson began his career for the team in 2009 before leaving for the Boston Celtics in 2o20. He now plays for the Cavs once again after he left Boston for Los Angeles this year. Craig's declaration states, “It is my belief that Tristan signed a ‘veteran's minimum' contract with the Cavaliers that pays him $ 2.7 million per year. The $80,000 request is certainly less than half of his monthly salary.” She is demanding $80,000 a month, ‘and to stay in effect until the arrears are satisfied,'” according to the filings.

Jordan Craig's Sister Cyre Blasts Tristan Thompson's Parenting

On a recent episode of The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian praised Thompson's parenting of her niece and nephew — True and Tatum — whom the NBA star shares with her younger sister Khloe Kardashian. However, Kai Craig, the sister of Jordan, argued Kim's comments on the Cavaliers player earlier this month.

“It's so painful to see how Tristan can find the time to do these nice things for others but can't seem to show up and be a real parent for my nephew Prince,” Kai began her since-deleted post per PEOPLE.

She then slammed the NBA player for just now inquiring about his son's school and praised her sister for her work ethic. She also however denied that the child support rumors are true,

“That's nice if he's been a good friend to you, but let's consider our sisters before taking to global platforms to defend this man's character,” Kai wrote, adding, “He's being applauded for picking up/dropping off other kids to school activities” while he allegedly doesn't allegedly participate in those activities for Prince.

“The child support rumors are INACCURATE!” she claimed adding, “Despite it all, my sister continues to work multiple jobs as she has since she was 16 years old so that Prince will never have to feel a difference,” she said.

“But regardless, stepping up for your son is not all about money it's about the time spent. @RealTristan13 you are NOT a good father if you can't be a good father to ALL of your children,” concluded Kai.

Thompson has not yet responded to the alleged child support claim.
