Gettleman on not adjusting Kyle Rudolph’s contract after his foot injury was detected in his entry physical: “We are the Giants. We’re going to do everything with class.”
Gettleman said the team doctors signed off on Rudolph’s foot.
Maybe it's just because the focus has turned to the draft, but not much to sink your teeth into from that Gettleman/Abrams free agency presser. Biggest takeaway to me was Abrams conceding that 2022 could be "more challenging" cap-wise.
Giants spent a lot of $$ this offseason + did things (void years, putting money into future) they don't normally do. Assistant GM Kevin Abrams says next year could be a "little bit of a challenge" financially but they should be healthy for future.
