MTG Secret Lair x Hatsune Miku Summer Superdrop 2024 is now available for pre-ordering. Unfortunately, it appears that stocks are sold out. Fans of the Japanese Vocaloid can now only find them in the secondary market. Because of these factors, the prices for these exclusive limited-edition cards are now blasting through the roof.

The Hatsune Miku Secret Lair Summer Superdrop will be available in two versions: Non-Foil and Rainbow Foil. The Non-Foil set is priced at $29.99, while the Rainbow Foil set will cost $39.99. Sadly, given this particular set is now sold out, fans who are interested can no longer purchase them at these prices.

MTG Hatsune Miku Card Prices as Singles

While the MTG Secret Lair x Hatsune Miku: Digital Sensation set is technically still up for pre-orders, the secondary market is now selling them as singles. Interested fans can technically still pre-order them, however, it'll be via these resellers.

Here's everything fans need to know about the Hatsune Miku price increase.

Chord of Calling (Non-Foil – $29.95/Rainbow Foil – TBD)MTG Hatsune Miku

Chord of Calling is an instant tutor spell that allows players to search for a needed creature. Its base cost is three mana (three green) plus an additional X, where X represents the amount of mana the controller pays.

The spell’s advantage lies in its Convoke ability, enabling the controller to tap any number of creatures to help cover the cost, which is especially useful if they’re low on land.

Once cast, the controller searches their library for a creature with a mana value of X or less, which then enters the battlefield. It's a valuable card, allowing players to quickly access their win conditions.

Diabolic Tutor (Non-Foil – $18.99/Rainbow Foil – $34.95)

Another tutor card in this set is Diabolic Tutor. This sorcery spell, costing four mana (two generic and two black), enables players to search their library for any card they need and put it in their hand. It's a staple inclusion for black decks or any decks featuring black.

Miku, Child of Song (Child of Alara) (Non-Foil – $34.20/Rainbow Foil – $44.91)MTG Hatsune Miku

Miku, Child of Song is a reskin of Child of Alara. This legendary creature costs five mana (one white, one blue, one black, one red, and one green) and demands an immediate response from opponents upon casting.

She has Trample and a death trigger that destroys all nonland permanents, which cannot be regenerated. Allowing this creature to resolve is risky, as it provides the controller with a living board wipe. One misstep, and it's game over for everyone on the table.

Sol Ring (Non-Foil – $29.99/Rainbow Foil – TBD)

Sol Ring is being reprinted in the MTG Hatsune Miku Secret Lair Superdrop. This mana rock is highly coveted in EDH decks. Its ability to generate extra mana for just one generic mana makes it ideal for enabling powerful turn-one plays.

Song of Creation (Non-Foil – $19.00/Rainbow Foil – $37.94)MTG Hatsune Miku

Song of Creation is a four-cost enchantment (one generic, one green, one blue, and one red) that allows the controller to play an additional land each turn. This card also serves as an excellent draw engine, enabling the controller to draw two cards for each spell cast. The ability triggers upon casting, so countering the spells doesn't affect the draw. The drawback is an end step trigger that forces the controller to discard one card from their hand. However, with the card's powerful draw capability, discarding one card is a minor inconvenience.

Thespian's Stage (Non-Foil – $29.87/Rainbow Foil – TBD)

The final card in the Hatsune Miku set releasing this summer is Thespian's Sage. This land generates one generic mana and has the ability to copy another target land.

Estimated Prices Come Launch

It's worth noting that these are pre-order prices if fans were to purchase them as singles from resellers. By the time the cards come out, prices are sure to drop but not by much. Having that said, it's understandable if Hatsune Miku enthusiasts still desire pre-ordering for these mind-boggling prices.

As for those who secured themselves copies, they'd be delighted to know that they multiplied their money five times. That's only given they sell their cards for the ongoing pre-order prices. Otherwise, they'll most likely make less when the cards come out but will still make a significant profit.

By the time the MTG Secret Lair x Hatsune Miku Summer Superdrop comes out, each card could likely drop to $10-$20 apiece. It's still pricier than the SRP pre-order but at least it'll be lighter on the wallet to purchase.
