MTG's upcoming set, Duskmourn: House of Horror, is scheduled for a global release on September 27, 2024. Though it's still several days away from the time of this publishing, MTG fans are eagerly anticipating what the set will bring. Cackling Slasher enters with a +1/+1 counter on it if a creature died this turn.

Destroy target creature. If a creature card is put into a graveyard this way, return it to the battlefield under your control. Sacrifice it at the beginning of your next end step.
