Playing on Sunday with a heavy heart due to the death of his younger sister just the day before, Celtics All-Star Isaiah Thomas became quite emotional and started to openly weep during his team's morning shootaround. Considering that Thomas' sister just died, this is an appropriate reaction, especially since the Celtics All-Star was still going to play in Game 1 against the Chicago Bulls in Boston's first-round matchup. But rather curiously, TNT analyst Charles Barkley did not like Thomas's passionate display of emotions.

Before the game, Barkley during his pre-game analysis said he was uncomfortable with Thomas crying:

“I’m not feeling comfortable with him sitting on the sideline crying like that. That makes me uncomfortable because that tells me he’s not in shape to play. I don’t know how this night is going to turn out. But to be sitting on the sideline a few minutes before the game, crying, that makes me uncomfortable for him. That’s just not a good look, in my personal opinion.”

Barkley always speaks his mind so him saying something outlandish is nothing new, but Barkley may want to reconsider what he said about Thomas and maybe even apologize to the Celtics All-Star because really, that would be the right thing to do.
