The Gonzaga Bulldogs were facing a lot of talent leaving for the 2022 NBA Draft. Chet Holmgren will be a top-three pick while Andrew Nembhard and Drew Timme also have shots at being drafted. However, one of those two recently decided on returning to college ball.

With just two simple words in a tweet, Timme declared he will return to Gonzaga and try to finally get them a national championship in his senior year.

Timme got emotional after Gonzaga's Sweet 16 loss to the Arkansas Razorbacks, making it seem like his time with the Bulldogs was up. The 21-year-old big man initially entered the draft but decided he will instead head back to Spokane, Washington right ahead of the early-entry withdrawal deadline.

After averaging 9.8 points per game as a freshman, he averaged over 18.0 points per game in each of the last two seasons. The 6-foot-10 native of Texas interior scoring has been huge for Gonzaga, especially in the NCAA Tournament. He averaged 20.3 points in the 2021 tournament, helping Gonzaga reach the National Championship Game, and 27.3 points in three games in last season's March Madness.

Losing Holmgren and Nembhard will be tough for Gonzaga. The Bulldogs will welcome in a four-star recruit, guard Dusty Stromer, as they look to get back on top.

Timme will be joined by two other returning starters, Julian Strawther and Rasir Bolton, as head coach Mark Few and Gonzaga once again pursue a national championship. Having both sharpshooters return to aid Timme will be key.
