Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler still has a good number of playing years left in the NBA, but his post-basketball career is already locked up.

Speaking to Jabari Young of CNBC, Butler shared his plans for when he decides to call it a career. As it turns out, the gig he started inside the NBA bubble in Florida will also be his future venture.

“After my basketball career, and people are like ‘Man, what is Jimmy doing nowadays,’ you know where to find me,” Butler said. “I will be in my cafe behind the bar making coffee.”

That's right. Jimmy Butler wants a seat at the coffee table by way of his Bigface brand. To recall, the Heat All-Star made his own coffee in the Florida bubble then sold them to his fellow players for $20 a cup.

In his interview with Young, it appeared that Butler isn't in it for the money. Instead, he's doing it for the love of making coffee itself.

“I wake up in the morning excited to train and go work out. Then I want to hurry up and get home so I can practice my bartending.”

Jimmy Butler has estimated earnings, thus far, of over $139 million throughout 10 years of playing in the NBA. By the time he finishes his new contract with the Heat, the number will balloon to $359 million.

Everything on Butler's resume is a product of consistent hard work. It's his signature trait and this exact characteristic bodes well for the success of his future endeavor.
