Victor Oladipo is off to a slow start at the beginning of his career as a member of the Miami Heat. The two-time All-Star, who came over to South Beach before the trade deadline, recently cited a leg issue that's preventing him to play on the level we're all accustomed to.

“One leg is stronger than the other. So I have some hypertrophy in one leg than the other. So working my way back and finding my balance is something I'm continuing to work at,” Dipo told Ira Winderman of South Florida Sun-Sentinel on Sunday.

For the second game in a row, it was clear that something was off about Oladipo. He played 30 minutes in the Heat's 115-101 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers at AmericanAirlines Arena, but he could only muster eight points on a poor 3-for-13 shooting from the field. He did have five assists, two steals and one block.

This comes just a day after his lackluster Heat debut against the Golden State Warriors, where he pitched in six points. While players are expected to experience an adjustment period when joining new teams, it's evident that Miami expects more out of Victor Oladipo.

After all, the 28-year-old is one of the best two-way players in the league today and is the perfect complement to Heat superstar Jimmy Butler. In 20 games for the Houston Rockets, Oladipo normed 21.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 1.2 steals.

However, Miami is also well aware of Dipo's extensive injury list over the last few seasons.

While Vic's latest setback does not seem like a potentially serious matter, it might be in their best bet to sit him out for the time being until he gets back to 100 percent.
