The Detroit Pistons picked up another impressive win on the road against the Minnesota Timberwolves. They made a terrific fourth-quarter comeback led by point guard Reggie Jackson, who had nine points and four assists in the final seven minutes of the game to get the 100-97 win.

After the game, Pistons newcomer Avery Bradley expressed via Vince Ellis of the Detroit Free Press the team’s sentiments of wanting Jackson to take over, especially during crunch time.

“He’s our leader; he’s our point guard. He’s somebody we need to bring it every single night in order for us to roll the way we want to play.”

While Jackson isn’t the most outstanding crunch time option, he’s still the best one the Pistons have. He is just about the only player on the roster with the ability to shoot as well as penetrate into the paint on a consistent basis to help set teammates up.

That ability to run the show in the clutch was something the Pistons sorely missed last season when Jackson was struggling with his knee injury. However, he’s back healthy and capable of filling the role this season like he did in 2015-16, which is definitely a big positive for the surprising 11-5 Pistons.
