The UNC Tar Heels may have won a huge game against the rivals Duke to advance to the championship game, but it came with a few heart attacks. Most notably, star center Armando Bacot was helped off of the floor in the second half after spraining his ankle. Bacot eventually came back to the game, though, which is a good sign.
After the game, Duke's Coach K went over to Armando Bacot and congratulated him. The coach also gave his props to the Tar Heels star. (via Matt Norlander)

Coach K's reputation amongst college basketball fans isā¦ well, to put it lightly, not good. There's a reason why many fans were rooting for the Tar Heels to win despite not being affiliated with UNC. However, behind all these hate is a guy who genuinely loves coaching players and basketball. The legendary coach clearly has an eye for talent.
The Duke-UNC matchup in the Final Four was one of the most highly anticipated sporting events of 2022. These two teams have a storied history, but they have never faced each other in the NCAA Tournament until today. Many fans were buzzing with excitement before this game, and it lived up to the expectations.
In the end, it was the Tar Heels that once again ruined Coach K's final season, as they eliminated their rivals in a close game. Will Coach K pull a Tom Brady and back out of his retirement to exact revenge on his rivals? Or will he commit to his previous statement and close this chapter of his career?
