Boston Celtics rookie Payton Pritchard came up big for his squad on Wednesday. He scored a game-winning put-back to lift the Cs over the defending Eastern Conference champs in the Miami Heat. Despite his heroics, though, the 22-year-old showed a bit of nerves in his post-game interview.

The broadcast asked Pritchard to comment on the game-winning play, a question which the former Oregon standout seemed to struggle with:

Pritchard stuttered a bit at the onset of the interview, but he was able to get through it eventually. To be fair to the 6-foot-2 shooting guard, he was able to respond to the succeeding questions with ease, so we'll just chalk this off as some rookie jitters for the youngster.

Pritchard finished Wednesday's win with six points on 3-of-10 shooting, to go along with six rebounds, four assists, and zero turnovers in 20 minutes of action. It wasn't his most noteworthy performance by a long stretch, but he is still expected to play a significant role for the Cs — at least for the short term — with both Kemba Walker and Jeff Teague out with respective injuries.

Boston's win over the Heat lifts them to 7-3 on the season. Payton Pritchard and the Celtics return to action on Friday against the Washington Wizards.
