With the Atlantic Division rival New York Knicks in town, the Boston Celtics need all the magic to embarrass their foes. Third-year wing Jayson Tatum surprised his opponents with a sick no-look pass to German big man Daniel Theis for a basket in the first quarter of the Friday night matchup.

The 27-year-old big man Theis slipped through lax defensive coverage of the Knicks for the layup from the feed via a Tatum post up.

Last week the Celtics embarrassed the Knicks on their home turf, but the ‘Bockers visit Beantown with a vengeance, hoping to rectify the early-season home blowout and cheers for an opponent's player, Tacko Fall, late the game last week.

The Celtics will have to do it without centers Enes Kanter and Robert Williams and swingman Jayson Tatum, as the short-staffed Boston squad is locked in with New York.
