Unlike his fellow players who brought their families inside the bubble, Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler didn't invite anyone. He has no reason to.

According to Butler, he is in the NBA bubble to play and win, so he considers it a “business trip.”

Indeed, the Heat are seemingly cooking on all cylinders with Butler’s potentially overzealous work ethic fitting in perfectly with the exacting Miami culture – which requires players to pass rigorous training regimens and physicals to be able to play for the team.

Jimmy Butler’s statements about this trip being all about business is right in line with the entire Heat ethos, and the early returns in the start of the team’s first game against the Bucks were good. Though the Heat went down double-digits early, they kept fighting and eventually pulled off the upset win.

The Heat had a full week off following their swift sweep of the Pacers combined with the few days when NBA players went on strike for social justice. As such, Miami and Butler will clearly be all about their “business” throughout their series against the Bucks.

Butler was not retained by the Philadelphia 76ers in the offseason, who instead opted to give Tobias Harris a near-max deal that led to them exiting the first round in an ignominious sweep.
