It's not too often that Kevin Durant gets dunked on during a game.

Bam Adebayo, however, made it look easy on Wednesday night.

Nearing the end of the second quarter in a mid-week matchup between the Golden State Warriors and the Miami Heat, the 21-year-old Adebayo caught a lofty alley-oop pass from teammate Justice Winslow which he proceeded to stuff into the hoop like it was a small grapefruit.

The second-year big man out of the University of Kentucky is still rightfully in the premature stages of his NBA development, though his future with the Miami Heat is shaping up to be a bright one.

Adebayo eked his way into the Heat's starting lineup prior to Wednesday's game, making it his seventh start of the year. He maximized his time in those previous six games, where he averagedĀ 12.2 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.8 as a starter.

The shuffling of the lineup did wonders for Miami, as they were able to hang on to edge the Warriors 126-125, thanks in part to a double-double Adebayo performance in the absence of Hassan Whiteside who was out with a hip pointer.

Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra will look to scheme up some sort of plan in order to make it back to the postseason this year. The team is working their way back into the top eight in the Eastern Conference, albeit rather slowly. They are currently a half a game out of the playoffs behind the Charlotte Hornets.

Bam Adebayo is averaging 7.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in Miami this season.
