The local government of Charlotte is confident with the Hornets' chances of beating the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday.

Ahead of their matchup, their social media team fired a shot directed at the visiting team on the night, as they already claimed victory against them. They even wondered if the Cavs would be taking the “light rail” once they lose the game, and included a thinking emoji in their reply to the team's initial tweet.

This is a clear reference to the fact that the Cavs team rode the subway ahead of their matchup with the Knicks earlier this week.

The city government has already shown how much they are embracing the current trends, as they used the word “Lit” in their Twitter name. Although a millenial term, it proves that they are updated with their language, and will get some of their younger residents to also be interested in news about the city, and with the projects of their local government, as they try to make Charlotte even better.

The tweet may be seen as a hilarious shot at the Cavs, but it could also fire them up more, especially coming off a huge come-from-behind victory against the New York Knicks on Monday. They are definitely full of confidence heading to their meeting, and another road victory will extend their winning streak to three games, which is the longest one they'll have this season so far.
