James Harden is having an incredible year and what many consider is one for the ages. On Tuesday night against the Golden State Warriors, he was able to add on to his historic season.

By finishing the game with 24 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists, the Houston Rockets guard became the first player in NBA history to score 2000 points and assist on 2000 points in the same season.

The Beard is one of the favorites to win the MVP award this season as he has led his team to third place in the Western Conference with only eight games left on their schedule. He is currently second in scoring with 29.4 and leads the league in assists with 11.3 a game.

Washington Wizards point guard John Wall is second in assist-points created with 1809, followed by Oklahoma City Thunder points guard Russell Westbrook with 1740.

Despite this being his first real season at the point guard position, Harden has showed everyone that he is very comfortable playing in that spot and has ran the plays designed by head coach Mike D'Antoni really well throughout the entire season.
