Following a crushing Game 7 defeat to the Boston Celtics, there's a lot for Washington Wizards point guard John Wall to think about before choosing to re-sign with the team.

According to sources close to the Wiz, (J. Michael of CSN Atlantic reports that Wall wants to be able to see a bigger picture plan of the franchise's vision for the future before choosing to commit for any extra length of time. Washington managed to win 49 games this season, garnering the fourth seed in the East before advancing to the Eastern Conference semifinals for the third time in four years.

His running mate, Bradley Beal, hit the bank last offseason, inking a five-year, $127 million deal with the team, thanks to a friendlier collective bargaining agreement that saw all that extra TV revenue.

Wall can add four years to the last two years of his contract extension for roughly $170 million after he cracked Third Team All-NBA honors last week, allowing for a much more lucrative contract than the five-year, $80 million extension of his rookie deal, which he signed in 2013.

The All-Star speed demon averaged a career-high 23.1 points, along with another career-best 10.7 assists, 2.0 steals, and 45.1 percent shooting from the floor this season. Wall also had the best postseason stretch of his career, putting up 27.2 points, 10.3 assists, and 1.7 steals on average through 13 games.
