Enes Kanter has been more vocal ever since he got traded to the New York Knicks from the Oklahoma City Thunder. Before LeBron James went to the Los Angeles Lakers, Kanter has pulled all the stops in recruiting The King to play for New York.

He even posted an edited photo of James donning the Knicks colors on his Twitter account.

Maybe, the big man is just assuming the vocal leader role for the Knicks. Be it in recruiting or having fun with his bashers. Kanter even has a nice little message to his haters:

Enes is even shown sinking 3-pointers consecutively in his private workouts this offseason. The evolution of basketball today requires big men to run and sink outside shots even beyond the rainbow arc. As shown in this Twitter post, it would be a mistake to leave him wide open in the 3-point region:

Meanwhile, the Knicks continue their rebuilding phase. They have added promising rookies Mitchell Robinson and Kevin Knox and it's now up to coach David Fizdale to get the best out of them. Kristaps Porzingis will be making his much-awaited return from injury. Depending on how fast the rookies can adapt to the NBA game, the Knicks could be just a player or two away from being playoff contenders.

Kanter is becoming more of a leader and he's showing it by averaging 14 points and 11 rebounds last season, including a player efficiency rating of 24. If he remains healthy, he will be a vital cog in the Knicks' campaign this year.
