Kristaps Porzingis might be scoring close to 20 points per game for the New York Knicks this past season, but his scoring prowess off the court has been nothing but goose eggs thus far.

While he's been a reliable second option for his team the past two seasons, the Latvian international has been chucking up shots like a go-to scorer on Instagram, hoping to get the attention of popular Croatian model Ines Nikic.

The 7-foot-3 center made a play on the model only weeks after she turned 18, sliding upon her DMs asking for a follow back and maybe more.

The model even taunted the Knicks star with the caption “Porzingod tryna smash” in one of her posts prior to the conversation.

Nikic even went as far as ruthlessly taunting the 7-foot-3 unicorn with a photo of her kissing another man, with the caption translating to “Are you sleeping peacefully Kristaps Porzingis?” (h/t to New York Post)

The model has yet to follow Porzingis and he has also stopped his pursuit of her after learning she was only 17 when he first interacted with her (aka she's too young for you, bro).

Porzingis has instead shifted his attention to EuroBasket, hoping to lead his native Latvia and fill up the box score the same way he's filled up models' DMs during the summer.
