The Miami Heat have emerged as a potential trade suitor for veteran forward Andre Iguodala, according to Shams Charania of Stadium.

The deal would be highly dependent on the draft picks involved in this trade conversation, potentially even involving another team for a three-way deal that would get the Memphis Grizzlies their desired draft selection:

The Heat are now the latest of the ever-growing list of teams looking to acquire the 16-year pro, especially considering he's coming in with fresh legs.

Iguodala also told those close to him he would consider sitting out the season if he isn't traded to a team of his choice by the deadline. He is owed $17.2 million in the final season of a three-year, $48 million deal he signed with the Golden State Warriors in 2017.

The Grizzlies have been hell-bent on getting yet another first-round selection in return for Iguodala, even after getting a Warriors first-rounder in the deal that sent him to Memphis in the summer.

Iguodala was cast away by the Grizzlies ever since he made his intentions of not playing a single game for them known. The team chose to keep him out of the locker room and allow him to keep in shape on his own while exploring potential trades.

Only a few days before the Feb. 6 deadline expires, teams like the Houston Rockets (who had previously thrown in the towel) have once again emerged in contention for the Swiss army knife, making one last push to acquire him before it's too late.
