Only 11 games in since returning to action following the ACL injury he suffered last season, Zach LaVine has already shown glimpses of his old form. That was the case on Monday against the Sacramento Kings, as he once again proved that he is one of the most exciting players to watch today, particularly with his high-flying ways and slam dunks.

With 15.4 seconds left in the first half, the 22-year-old UCLA product drove past his defender and was met at the rim by JaKarr Sampson. The sight of the 6-foot-9 forward did not scare him at all and he soared high before throwing down a poster dunk on him which left the crowd inside Golden 1 Center in awe.

Zach LaVine has not shown signs of the ACL injury hampering him since he returned to action. He has been averaging 14.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.0 steals in 23.2 minutes per game. More importantly, he is giving the Chicago faithful a lot of reason to believe that their rebuild will not last long with him as one of their cornerstones for the future. Together with Lauri Markkanen and Bobby Portis, the Bulls are expected to be the building blocks for them as they try to become contenders again.

The Bulls are looking to snap out of a six-game losing skid on the night and make their win-loss slate for the season more respectable. The Kings, on the other hand, have lost three of their last four games, and will do their best to win their 17th game of the season and tie them with the Dallas Mavericks for 15th place in the Western Conference.
