Following the signing of Paul Millsap during the summer, the Denver Nuggets were able to successfully add the legitimate All-Star they have long wanted to bring in to their fold. However, they created a logjam at the power forward spot, as they also have Kenneth Faried and Trey Lyles, who are both worthy to receive heavy minutes as well.

The good news for head coach Mike Malone is that the two have apparently remained professional despite facing uncertainty with their usage this coming season. According to to the Nuggets' coach, Faried and Lyles have not complained since, and just continue to compete for a bigger role.

Even if one of them will not be part of the second stringers, another thing that Mike Malone and his staff can look into is playing Kenneth Faried and Trey Lyles together, especially when there's a need to have a faster unit on the floor, and depending on matchups as well.

It's not often that players' egos don't get in the way, as they all want to receive a lot of playing time and have the opportunity to prove themselves. Malone may be lucky that his players are not complaining now, but it still could be a problem in the future, and something they'll need to address soon.
