Houston Rockets star James Harden delivered in a big way yet again by hitting the game-winning 3-pointer to lead his team to a thrilling 135-134 overtime win over the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night.

Harden continued his awesome stretch of scoring performances by going for 44 points, 10 rebounds, and 15 assists, which marked his fifth straight 40-point effort.

Of course, his biggest contribution of the game came with only a few seconds left in overtime, as he knocked down a long jumper from beyond the arc to give the Rockets the go-ahead bucket and eventual win.

This clutch shot came after James Harden had already made another long 3-pointer to send the game to overtime.

At this point, what Harden is doing is just absolutely ridiculous. His ability to score at such an incredible level has clearly put him ahead of the rest of the pack when it comes to offense, and he's proven why he has a great chance of winning back-to-back NBA MVP awards.

Houston has looked like a completely different team after struggling to an 11-14 start, and obviously, Harden's hot streak has played a huge role in that.

If he keeps playing like this, it's going to be insanely difficult for opposing teams to stock the Rockets, especially with others around him also making major contributions right now.

Clint Capela added his own impressive performance with 29 points and 21 rebounds, which also made a huge difference in the outcome of the game.

James Harden and company will look to keep their momentum going on Saturday in a road matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers.
