Black Monday has come and gone and Pete Carroll is still the head coach of the Seattle Seahawks. Russell Wilson also remains part of the franchise. However, football fans are going to hear their names a lot in the offseason, as both legendary Seahawks figures are rumored to have just served their last season in Seattle.

The Seahawks have been busy since the end of their season, particularly their front office, which is having several meetings this week which may or may not tackle the futures of Carroll and Wilson with the team.

Via Michael Lombardi:

Hearing there are many organizational meetings with ownership happening today in Seattle. Not certain of the outcome of those meetings, but I'm sure many topics will be addressed and questions will need the right answers.

Carroll doesn't seem to be too worried about his status in Seattle — or at least that's what he wants to project — saying that he's in “great shape” following the Seahawks' season-ending 38-30 win on the road over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 18. As for Wilson, he has a live contract with the Seahawks that won't expire until 2023, but the team could move him elsewhere in the offseason if they decide to hit the reset button.
