Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal has an old school mindset where you play with the team and players you have and go and compete every night at a high level.

Beal says he's hates super teams, but understands that is the new phenomenon in the NBA since the Golden State Warriors have five All-Stars in their starting lineup in Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, and DeMarcus Cousins.

“I kinda hate it. I hate super teams,” Beal told Fred Katz of The Atheltic. “And that’s just me. … Like everybody, just get your own team and just try to win with what you’ve got. But it’s like you need five All-Stars to win, especially to beat Golden State at this point. Granted, that’s everybody’s measuring stick: Golden State. They’ve got four, five, six guys on their team that are probably All-Stars, so it speaks for (itself).”

The Wizards only have one star on the team right now and that's Beal. The team's other star, point guard John Wall, is done for the season after undergoing left heel surgery.

To make matters even worse, Wall might miss the entire 2019-20 season after slipping at his house and rupturing his Achilles. Despite that, Beal has said multiple times he doesn't want to be traded by the Wizards and wants to win in the nation's capital.
