Washington Wizards starting small forward Markieff Morris missed Saturday's practice with flu-like symptoms, according to Chris Miller of NBC Sports Washington.

Morris played 37 minutes Friday night against the Sacramento Kings and finished with 13 points and seven rebounds while shooting 6-of-10 from the field, 1-of-5 from beyond the arc and 0-of-2 from the free-throw line.

The Wizards lost to the Kings by a final score of 116-112. Washington is now 1-4 on the season.

The Wizards take on the Los Angeles Clippers Sunday night at Staples Center. Markieff Morris is averaging 15.2 points, 6.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists on the season. The 29-year-old is shooting 55.1 percent from the floor, 50.0 percent from the 3-point line and 76.9 percent from the charity stripe.

If Morris can't play versus the Clippers, veteran swingman Jeff Green will start in his place.

The Wizards have gone just 1-4 through the first five games of the season and will enter Sunday's meeting with the Clippers with a poor 1-9 record in their last 10 games away from home dating back to last season.

Markieff Morris is making $8.6 million this season and will become an unrestricted free agent during the summer of 2019. Morris and his twin brother, Boston Celtics small forward Marcus Morris, signed with agent Rich Paul of Klutch Sports during the offseason.
