The Washington Wizards are waiving guard Chasson Randle according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. Randle never played for the Wizards during his stint with the team. Instead, Randle was busy ripping up the G League for the Wizards' affiliate, the Capital City Go-Go. Randle scored 61 points in two games with Capital City and did it while shooting 50 percent from the floor and 42.9 percent from deep.

Unfortunately, this is nothing new for Chasson Randle during his career. Randle has spent much of his career playing well in the G League without getting much of a shot at the NBA level. He averaged more than 20 points per game for the Westchester Knicks during the 2016-17 season.

Waiving Randle is a minor move for the Wizards, but expect to see some major moves soon. The Wizards are off to an inexplicably bad start, and each loss feels like one step closer to a complete blowup. The Wizards sit at 3-9 which ranks among the worst in the league. Only the Atlanta Hawks, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Phoenix Suns have worse records.

If the losing continues, expect everyone on the roster to find themselves on the trading block. John Wall and Bradley Beal would likely fetch the best returns, but Kelly Oubre, Markieff Morris, and Otto Porter Jr. would bring back assets.

The flailing Wizards will likely need to make a few more moves before they officially right the ship.
