Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals weren't supposed to even reach the Super Bowl. After falling short of winning it all, the second-year quarterback thinks this is just the beginning for his young squad.
Burrow was vocal on Cincinnati's future after their loss to the Los Angeles Rams, predicting this to just be the first of many trips to the NFL's biggest stage.
“We’re a young team,” said the Bengals QB. “So you know you’d like to think that we’ll be back in this situation multiple times over the course of the next few years. We take this and let it fuel you for the rest of our careers.”
“I think it's going to propel us into next year,” the Bengals QB continued. “We're going to have a really good offseason. We have a lot of hard workers in that locker room that are going to attack this offseason like we did last year. Obviously, we're not satisfied with what we did this year. We're going to keep getting better and attack next year with the same intensity.”
Sustaining Super Bowl success isn't easy in the NFL. But overcoming the odds is something Joe Burrow and the Bengals showed they're willing and able to do this season.
If they address their weaknesses in the offseason, it's not hard to imagine them making it again next season
