The Chicago Bulls are extremely close to clinching a spot in the playoffs. For this to happen, the Bulls have two options, but only one is up to them. One, Chicago wins in Tuesday night's matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks. Two, the Cleveland Cavaliers lose their game against the Orlando Magic.

Either way, according to Bulls insider K.C. Johnson, this will be the team's first postseason run since 2017.

Unfortunately, the Bulls aren't in the best situation to clinch their playoff spot. The team is dealing with multiple injuries to key players, including Lonzo Ball and Zach LaVine. Ball is expected to be out until at least April 10, while LaVine is a game-time decision. That being said, is the shooting guard playing against the Bucks Tuesday night?

Is Zach LaVine Playing vs Bucks

Unfortunately, LaVine has been downgraded from “expected to play” to “doubtful” for Tuesday night's matchup.

NBC Sports EDGE Basketball tweeted the discouraging update Tuesday afternoon.

This is bad news for the Bulls, a team that has relied on LaVine's dominating offense for the majority of the season. The shooting guard averages 24.7 points, 4.5 assists and 4.6 rebounds each game.

According to CBS Sports, LaVine has been dealing with an ongoing knee injury since around the All-Star Break. The news outlet reported that he did not practice with the Bulls on Monday for “precautionary purposes,” since he was expected to play Tuesday night.

If LaVine's injury continues to trend in this direction, the Bulls will have to attempt to come up with the win without him.
