Continuing their ongoing tradition of passive-aggressive messages through social media, New York Knicks star forward Carmelo Anthony responded to team president Phil Jackson‘s recent comments of the franchise moving forward, possibly without him.
The 32-year-old wing took to Instagram and replied to Jackson's comments with a priceless photo of Leonardo DiCaprio in The Great Gatsby.
Anthony could have also been responding to Jackson being quoted saying he's never criticized his star player before.
Phil Jackson says he never criticized Carmelo Anthony in any tweets or interviews this season. I think Carmelo would disagree.

Besides his actual comments of Anthony being a ball-stopper early in the season, Jackson also got his media friend Charley Rosen of FanRag Sports to openly criticize Anthony for being a “sticky-handed, shoot-first player who plays minimal defense.”
Rosen added insult to injury by adding that “primarily because of his reluctance to triangularize his game, Melo simply became a ball-stopping, motion-freezing individual whose selfishness severely curtailed the development of the Knicks’ younger players.”
The Great Gatsby clearly hasn't forgotten about that.
