Ahead of the Boston Celtics' pivotal Game 4 against the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals, Jaylen Brown made a huge promise to the Beantown team and its fans.

The Celtics currently trail the surging Heat 2-1 in the series, and the last thing that they want to do is come within just one game of being eliminated from title contention. However, Brown knows exactly what they have to do — and what he needs to do — in order to get Boston back into the series.

“Being aggressive defensively is going to be the key to the series for us,” the Celtics rising star said, per Chris Grenham of Forbes.

“Defense is what we hang our hat on. It's something I hang my hat on. I think I can take it to another level and I will.”

After going down 2-0, the Celtics managed to get one back against the Heat to make the battle even more interesting. With that said, another win in Game 4 to even series would surely swing things in Boston's direction.

Prior to battling it out with the Heat, who have lost just two games down in Orlando this postseason, Jaylen Brown and the Celtics defeated both the Philadelphia 76ers and defending NBA champions Toronto Raptors.

On the other hand, the Heat beat the Indiana Pacers and the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks — with Miami just losing one game against Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co.

Both Miami and Boston have impressed in a big way en route to an appearance in the Eastern Conference Finals, so it's no surprise why their matchup has been so highly anticipated.
