NBA superstars have started putting in the work as training camps are set to begin soon. That includes Boston Celtics main man Jayson Tatum, who has added new weapons to his ever-growing arsenal every offseason. Anyway, Jayson Tatum is now ripped like a pro wrestler. Wait… what?!

But this time around, Tatum has focused on his physique as well. He shared a few photos of him sweating it out in the gym, and he has clearly bulked up. Tatum was criticized in the past for his lean frame when he entered the NBA, but he has developed his body every year. This offseason was no different.

Entering his fifth year, the 23-year-old Tatum knows he'll get more banged up as more defenders gang up against him. So building his muscles would be beneficial. That's exactly what NBA legend Michael Jordan did in his early years after he was manhandled by the tough Bad Boys of the Detroit Pistons.

Tatum, however, is more of a Kobe Bryant guy, and the late icon's work ethic has always been a point of inspiration for the Celtics forward. He has always been a hard worker, admitting that he loves the grind. In fact, he has hardly taken a rest this offseason after also suiting up for Team USA in the Tokyo Olympics.

The two-time All-Star will carry a heavier load this season, as the Celtics are in a transition period under new coach Ime Udoka and five new players. But Jayson Tatum has always embraced challenges — that's not a weird flex by any means.
