Boston Celtics guard Kemba Walker redeemed himself nicely against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday, delivering the game-sealing dagger to give his team a 119-115 win at Staples Center.

With less than a minute left in regulation, the visiting Celtics were down by one and leaned on the 30-year-old speedster to get them out of the hole.

The four-time All-Star came through with flying colors, using a brilliant screen from teammate Tristan Thompson to get a closer look at the basket. Walker then evaded Serge Ibaka's help defense with a series of crossovers and a nifty step-back before hitting the go-ahead jumper.

Kemba Walker finished with 24 points on 9-of-19 shooting from the field and 2-of-7 from deep, along with one rebound, four assists, one steal and one block in 32 minutes of play. He redeemed himself after missing a potential game-winner against the Los Angeles Lakers earlier in the week.

Things haven't exactly gone smoothly for the 6-foot playmaker this season after several inconsistent outings upon his return from injury. Entering Friday's road game versus the Clips, Walker was only averaging 15.0 points on 36.6 percent shooting from the field and 30.0 percent from downtown in seven games. The Celtics have also struggled without their floor general for the most part, starting of the season with a 12-9 slate.
