There isn't many negatives from being the biggest man in the building, especially when one towers at a gigantic 7-foot-5. But Tacko Fall might have just suffered from his very own virtue, entering the concussion protocol after hitting his head with a low ceiling.

The Boston Celtics big man told John Karalis of MassLive that he was trying to wash his hands after a workout at the practice facility, but didn’t notice a “low ceiling” — or as most people know it, “the ceiling.”

Fall initially thought nothing of it after first hitting his head, later participating in a swim lesson event at the Charlestown Boys and Girls Club with no noticeable effects. He then went back to the Auerbach Center to get more work in, but didn't feel anything strange until the next morning.

“Tacko got hit in the head yesterday after individual work,” head coach Brad Stevens said at the time. “He was a little under the weather. It sounds like being very cautious about that.”

Fall traveled to Philadelphia for the Celtics' season opener against the 76ers, but was inactive, something Stevens noted wouldn't have changed had he been completely healthy. The helmsman gave a quick update on his center's progress

“Very close (to a return) from what I’ve been told,” Stevens told reporters. “But he wasn’t going to be active anyway.”

The University of Central Florida product is unlikely to log very many minutes this season, but rest assured that Celtics fans will treat his debut like a national holiday after winning the hearts of many during the preseason.
