Boston Celtics President of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge believes his team can erase its 3-1 series deficit against the Miami Heat in the 2020 Eastern Conference Finals down in Orlando, Florida at Walt Disney World.

Ainge says he's not panicking and claims the Celtics' best basketball “is ahead of us.”

“I’m not panicking,” Danny Ainge said, via the Boston Globe. “I really believe in these guys and I think that they’re showing some great moments, and we just need to be able to sustain it longer.

“From what I’ve seen of them in the Toronto series and Philadelphia series, and all year long, and even from previous years in the playoffs and just watching their maturity. I feel like our best basketball is ahead of us.”

The Celtics and Heat will play Game 5 of their series on Friday evening. A Boston loss will end the Celtics' season and force Ainge and Co. to make some tough decisions in the offseason.

For Boston to stay alive in this series, Kemba Walker, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Gordon Hayward each have to play like All-Stars moving forward. That means scoring 20 or more points in each game and playing high-level defense against a Heat team which has lost just two times in the postseason.

There are some Celtics fans who believe head coach Brad Stevens should be on the hot seat if the Heat win the series in five. However, Ainge has previously said Stevens isn't going anywhere no matter how the playoffs end for Boston.
