During an episode of ESPN's The Jump, in an attempt to address the trend of NBA players posting seemingly flawless workout videos, Boston Celtics legend Paul Pierce gave an absolutely humorous look on his “comeback” attempt.

In the video, the future Hall of Famer can be seen taking shot after shot without missing, getting some “light” weight room work and at one point even finishing on a dunk despite maybe getting three inches off the ground.

All of this done with a hoodie on in a subtle shot to Carmelo Anthony's “Hoodie Melo” persona. NBA fans will remember that last year Anthony posted a series of workout videos where he looked to be in peak form only to turn out pretty underwhelming in the actual season.

Obviously, Pierce is in no way, shape, or form serious about his comeback attempt. This is just Pierce's way of letting the whole NBA know what he thinks about all the hype around these summer workout videos players keep on posting.

In recent months, there have been a lot of NBA players posting their workout clips and pickup game highlights to maybe show people that they are working on their game. Players like Lebron James, Kevin Durant, James Harden, Carmelo Anthony, and many others have joined in on this. In this age of social media, there might be a train of thought that if you're not posting your workout videos, you're probably not really working.

Also, this might be Pierce throwing more shade to Andrew Bynum's attempt for an NBA comeback. Bynum has been reported to be scheduling team workouts with NBA teams.

Regardless if it was meant to throw shade on certain players or not, the video is hilarious and at the same time, it gives the league some more truth.
