FromSoftware's Elden Ring will have a Closed Network Test soon, and Bandai Namco is promoting it through a brand-new trailer.

Rise, Tarnished! Bandai Namco's newsletter reads, encouraging us to sign up for the upcoming Closed Network Test. The test – a sort of beta testing that's focused on the game's online capabilities. The Closed Network Test will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Cross-play between the same console family will be available.

To join in, you'll have to register before November 1, 2021. Simply head to the Bandai Namco website here and follow the on-screen instructions. Registering gives you a chance to be selected, so it's still not a sure-fire way to get early impressions in for Elden Ring.

Once you're selected, there will be four instances of the test:

Make sure to mark your calendars this early and phone in your work leaves. With only three hours for each instance, you won't have a lot of time with the game. That's okay since Bandai Namco says that the Closed Network Test will limit players' progress for only the early parts of the game, anyway.
