The Boston Celtics are in deep trouble.

After a strong regular season that included an exciting win over the Golden State Warriors that broke their 54-home game winning streak, the Celtics have lost the opening two games of their first round matchup with the Atlanta Hawks.

Game one came down right to the wire before they fell by a single point, but game two was a different story. Boston ended up losing 89-72, but it was even uglier after the first quarter.

The Celtics only managed to put up a measly seven points in the first 12 minutes. In doing so, they set the NBA record for the fewest points in the first quarter of a playoff game.

Initially, the Hawks didn't make too much of Boston's horrible start. That is until this morning, when Atlanta's official Twitter absolutely roasted the C's.

Yes, the Celtics only had three points at the 5:08 mark, and didn't end up collecting their next two points until there was 4:07 remaining.

Boston will look to bounce back with a much better effort in game three on Friday night, but they'll have to do so without Avery Bradley, who was lost to an injury in game one.
