Miami Heat legend Udonis Haslem says former Heat star and current Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James has the greatest basketball IQ he has ever seen.

Haslem and James were teammates for four seasons on the Heat.

James, along with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, led Miami to four-straight NBA Finals. The Heat went 2-2.

“LeBron James had the best basketball IQ I’ve ever seen from a player,” Haslem told Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated. “The way I see the game now, I know everybody’s position. I know where everybody should be. I know what everybody should be doing. When I’m looking at the defenses, I’m not just looking at the man that’s guarding me. I’m looking at the other four defenders on the floor. That’s something I learned from LeBron.”

LeBron James is still universally recognized as the best player in the NBA.

Even in what pundits called a down season for LeBron in 2018-19 with the Lakers, The King still averaged 27.4 points, 8.5 rebounds and 8.3 assists per game.

James can see plays before they happen on both ends of the floor. He's always had more Magic Johnson in him than Michael Jordan.

LeBron won two MVPs with the Heat in addition to his two titles.

Based on win-shares, an estimate of the number of wins contributed by a player, James is the second-best player in Heat franchise history after Wade.
