The game between the Boston Celtics and Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night was a highly-entertaining one and was closely fought for almost the entire match.

During the first half, things got a little chippy when the Wolves' 6-foot-11 big man, Gorgui Dieng, gave a screen for his teammate, Zach LaVine, and pushed Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas who only stands 5-foot-9. Despite the huge height disparity the two had, Thomas was fearless and went straight to Dieng to let him know he did not appreciate the push.

Cooler heads prevailed and the two were separated immediately before it became worse.

The Celtics had the last laugh of the night as they came out victorious, 99-93, and improved their record to 8-6 in the young season. The Timberwolves fell to 4-9, including a two-game losing streak.
