New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony and his hoodie have been inseparable from each other this summer.

But there's another tandem involving Anthony that has piqued the interest of the always rumor-thirsty basketball universe. And that's Anthony and Portland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum, who teamed up in Academy Basketball’s “M7 Blackout Sessions” that was captured on video and posted on Instagram by NBA trainer, Chris Brickley.

It's not unusual for players from different NBA teams to play alongside each other in friendly games such as this one. Just the other day, Melo laced it up and balled with former Knicks teammate J.R. Smith and Oklahoma City biggie Enes Kanter. But because McCollum and fellow Blazer guard Damian Lillard have sort of publicly lobbied for Anthony's services earlier this summer, it's easy to see why people are making a fuss out of this.

Anthony is still under contract with the Knicks and though there have been countless discussions of the team trading Anthony, including ones that involved the Houston Rockets and the Cleveland Cavaliers, the trigger appears to be far from being pulled.
